Well done to Gerry Synott who completed a great duathlon in Ballinrobe on Saturday. Gerry finished the 3k run 23k bike and 3k run in a fantastic time and was back out on the bike again for a long spin on Sunday morning. The Galway 5k series 2011 has been announced and the first leg will be in Athenry on Tues 3rd May 2011. The second leg will be in Tuam on Tues 10th May 2011 and online entries open on Friday 18th March at 8pm. The 5k series sold out in record time last year and the 600 online entries are expected to go even quicker in 2011. Juvenile training is back on this evening Wed 9th March at 7pm in the Mercy Gym and a final gentle reminder to all Adult and Juvenile members who have not yet paid 2011 membership.
