The GCH winning men's team collects their prize
The results have been checked and the final result is available here.
In checking the final result it seems that one runner was omitted from the original results. This changes the result of the women’s team prize. It means that GCH have won the women’s team prize and Athenry AC were in second place.
In looking at the results, we spotted something interesting. Even though he didn’t win the race this year, Jerry Ryan’s time of 24:46 was his fastest-ever time in the Tuam 8K. So, despite the slightly windy conditions, we still had some great running in Tuam this year. We look forward to seeing how next year’s race will go.
