Great display by Darragh and Rory in All-Irelands

Darragh Finneran had a busy weekend representing Tuam AC in the All Ireland Finals on Saturday and Sunday in Tullamore. The two days competition represented the first two events of an incredible hat-trick of All Ireland qualification as he took part in the Boys U16 Javelin on Saturday followed by the Long Jump on Sunday and he will be back at Day 3 of the All Irelands on Sat 28th July to take part in the Shot Putt. Rory Monaghan joined him on Sunday when he took part in the Hammer competition and both of these Tuam lads can be very proud of themselves as they both finished inside the top 10 in their finals. Rory will also be back in Tullamore in two weeks time to take part in the Discus and they will be joined by former All Ireland champion Abdul Wahab and we wish them all well. Juvenile training continues throughout the Summer on Wednesday evenings at 7pm in Tuam Celtic Park.
