One of our juvenile athletes Darragh Finneran had a great day at the All Ireland Indoor Athletics Final where he represented Tuam AC in the U 16 Boys Long Jump. The St Jarlath’s student had qualified for the All Ireland’s in a tough Connacht competition and following a number of dedicated training sessions he was in great form going into the Finals in Nenagh on Saturday and whilst he did not win an All Ireland Medal this time he did come very close and set a significant personal best in the process and is now looking forward to the outdoor season.
