About Tuam AC

Tuam A.C. are a thriving club with almost 100 members. We have a very active Juvenile club with regular attendance of over 40 young athletes. We have very recently moved to a fantastic new training ground at Toghermore House, Tuam. We have also recently purchased over €10,000 worth of Athletic equipment and can now provide coaching in all events including High Jump and ALL throwing events. Tuam AC have a very good record in throwing events and a number of our Juvenile Athletes have again qualified for the All Ireland Finals in Shot Putt, Discus,Javelin and Hammer.

We also provide coaching in sprinting, middle distance and long distance running.

Tuam AC are always on the lookout for new members. Everybody is more than welcome to join and we cater for everybody. You do not have to be superfit or own the latest designer gear to join Tuam AC. All you need is €20 for full membership which includes registration with AAI and Insurance cover.

Tuam AC will soon be re-launching our Fit4Life training which is ideal for all new members. Until then, you are welcome to come and train with us on Thursday evenings at 7PM outside the Aura Leisure Centre in The Palace Grounds in Tuam. We'll be the ones with the high-vis vests at the bottom end of the car park. During the Winter season we run around the town, but from Spring onwards we run around the beautiful park itself which is a perfect venue for running, jogging and walking.
